+ Outlook Express Settings
The following is the process to set up our email service within Microsoft Outlook Express. The following dialogs are from Outlook Express 6.0.
- Select "Accounts..." under the tools menu in the main Outlook Express screen.
- Click the "Add" Button, then select "Mail.." on the popup menu. This will bring up the new account wizard.

- In the first screen of the wizard, enter your name or the name you would like other people to see when the receive a message from you under this account.
- In the next screen you will enter the email address given to you. When complete, click next.

- Set the incomming to pop.broadband-mn.comand the outgoing mail server tosmtp.broadband-mn.com. When complete, click next.
- Your account name is your full email address and your password is the password given to you for email. When complete push Next and then push finish.

- At this point its not completly set up. SMTP Athentication needs to be turned on. Click the properties button with the new email account selected in the account list.
- In the resulting dialog, check the box "My server requires authentication" under the Servers tab. After authentication is turned on, click "OK" then close the accounts dialog.
- At this point set up is complete. Click the "Send/Recv" button to test your account settings.
If you receive errors.
- Check to make sure your username and password are correct. Your username is your full email address unless you have been told otherwise. Your password is case sensitive.
- Make sure you are currently connected to the internet by opening a browser and visiting a website.
- Go to https://email.broadband-mn.com/ to make sure you can access your account. To login, use your email as your username.
