+ Thunderbird Settings
Mozilla Thunderbird is an email client based on Netscape mail but released as an independent application by the Mozilla Foundation. The following screenshots were taken from Thunderbird version 1.0.7. You may download Thunderbird here.
- Select "Account Settings..." from the tools menu.

- In the resulting dialog, Select the "Add Account..." button.

- The resulting dialog is an Add Account Wizard. Select Email Account and then click Next.
- Enter your name and email address, then click Next.
- Select POP Server and set the server to pop.broadband-mn.com. If this account is the first one added to the email client, you will also have an option to set the outgoing server as well. That server issmtp.broadband-mn.com.

- Your incomming as well as outgoing username is your full email address. Click next upon completion.
- Give this email account a name to identify this account. The name you set for this account has no determination of how the account operates. Click Next and Finish.
- Double check that your Outgoing Server settings are correct. Select the Outgoing Server section and set the server name to mail.broadband.com as well as check the Use name and password box. Put your email address in the Username box.

- Test your account settings by pushing Get Mail. You will then be promted for your password which you may want to save in that dialog.
If you receive errors.
- Check to make sure your username and password are correct. Your username is your full email address unless you have been told otherwise. Your password is case sensitive.
- Make sure you are currently connected to the internet by opening a browser and visiting a website.
- Go to http://email.broadband-mn.com/ to make sure you can access your account. To login, use your email as your username.
